Brachyceratops is only known from juvenile remains. It had a large nose horn and small bumps above its eyes.

Some scientists believe that Brachyceratops is actually the remains of another dinosaur, Rubeosaurus, which itself is thought to be a synonym of Styracosaurus. Although no one is certain, it is possible that Brachyceratops is actually just baby Styracosaurus.
